Hindus from all over the country celebrate Basant Panchami today. Saraswati Puja 2018 Date celebrates the beginning of the spring and the harvest. Pasant Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of Maagh (one month in Hindu calendar). The word “Basant” means spring and “Panchmi” refers to the fifth day of the festival.
