Palampur – A Beautiful Hill Station to Explore in Himachal

Situated in the foothills of Dhaladhar Mountains, Palampur is a small city covered with huge tea gardens and pine forests. The place is famous for its northern Indian tea gardens which mainly found in the hill station of Kangra Valley, Himachal Pradesh.

Via Rail:

The city’s railway station the Palampur Railway Station is 5.3 Km away from the central location. The station is located on the Pathankot- Jogindarnagar Narrow gauge railway route. For those who are arriving from Bhopal, Mumbai, Ahmadabad, Jammu, Jalandhar and Delhi, the best way is to board on Pathankot train as it is nearest to Palampur.

Via Road:

You can reach Palampur by bus as its connected to various routes and destination of Himachal Pradesh. Many state buses, private buses and Volvo regularly travel along Palampur to Chamba, Kullu, Pathankot, Dharamshala, Mandi, Shimla, Jogindernagar, Jalandhar, and Chandigarh.

Tashi Jong Monastery: Buddhists Worship centre.

Saurabh Van Bihar: This park is the adorned by massive greenery and mountains. You can visit this park and spend some leisure time.
