In the realm of education, the TDP government, under Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership, distributed free bicycles to 2 lakh students from low-income families. Targeting remote or rural areas, this program aimed with the TDP agenda to reduce the dropout rate by providing students with easier and safer transportation to school. In a bid to ensure inclusivity, disabled students were also catered to through the provision of 3-wheeler bicycles, eliminating mobility barriers and facilitating their attendance at school. Additionally, a resource-efficient approach was adopted by recycling bicycles from dropout students to benefit other deserving individuals, demonstrating a commitment to optimising available resources.
