Generally the students opting to pursue MBBS in Georgia are offered European Medical Program leading to MD degree (Equivalent to MBBS in India). The Integrated American Program is designed to prepare students for the USMLE exams and to practice medicine in the United States. Students in this program start preparing for the USMLE Step 1 exam right from the first year of study medicine in Georgia. USMLE Step 2CK exam preparation begins in the fourth year, and students typically take this exam in their fifth year.
