His talent soon caught the attention of club owners, and he broke into the club circuit in 1990, performing at iconic venues like Kinselas, The Dome, and Ziguratt.
Known for his innovative turntable tricks and live remixing, DJ KC quickly gained popularity in the rave scene, supporting acts like Ultrasonic, The Dream Team, and DJ Slipmatt. His passion for performance and dedication to his craft led him to win the Australian DJ Championships three years in a row, solidifying his reputation as a turntable maestro.
Over the years, DJ KC has supported renowned hip hop acts such as Naughty by Nature, Coolio, and House of Pain, showcasing his versatility and adaptability as a DJ. With a diverse range of genres under his belt, including hip hop, R&B, funk, disco, house, and techno, DJ KC continues to captivate audiences across Australia with his eclectic mix of tunes and mash-ups.
