Visit Smriti Van

Smriti Van of Jaipur is an eco-tourism site established in 1971 when floods damaged the city. This place has been restored and is now a thriving biodiversity sanctuary. Many bird species, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, and various animals can be found in this park.

The name Smriti Van Jaipur means City of Trees. This is a popular tourist destination in Rajasthan and across India. This park is located on the banks of River Yamuna. This park has protected status and is thus not allowed to move construction status.

The main attraction in the park is the Smriti Village. The most notable species of flora in the area are The Mountain Woodruff, The Big Five Trees, Mountain Cedar, The Rubber Bark Trees, The Vasa Trees, The Black and White Peonies, The Giant Reed Grass, The Morning Glory, The White Sunflower, The Shasta Daisy, And Indian Elm.

You can either visit Bapu Bazaar, where you can pick up a variety of fresh produce from fruit stalls or vegetable stalls, or head to Badarpur Road, where you can pick up items such as silverware and crockery from the myriad of stores set in stone, brick, wood, ivory, jute, and silk.
