NPS International School’s International Exposure

NPS International School’s one of the main objectives has been International exposure to the students for better understanding of the outer world. The school has been constantly taking students outside the country to give a close-up experience of different Cultures, Heritage, and People. The students not only learn new things in these trips but also get to enjoy a different place. In the past, NPS International School has taken students to prestigious institutions outside India and has been supplying the students with ample chance of competing globally.

Some of the many well known establishments the School took the students to are the Kennedy Space centre in the USA, a visit to the King’s College in London at 2014, the Imperial College also situated in London, the all-star Cambridge University in London, The Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, in the USA, in 2015, the Harvard University of the USA in 2015, the Educational and Intercultural Exchange Program in Germany, the School Immersion programme at Ebbsfleet Academy at London, .

Due to this International Exposure, the students bring laurels to the school from all around the world. The students of NPS International won Championship Medal in the robotics contest at NASA in 2015, among many others from around the world and also in India as well.

Carrying on the practice of International Exposure for the students in NPS, NPS International took it a step ahead and took its pupils on an educational trip, all the way to Sri Lanka recently. The purpose of the adventure was to let the students know how Sri Lanka has been using 17 United Nations for sustainable growth for the development of the country’s youth. The Students were also given a once in a lifetime chance to visit the Ministry of national policy & Economic affairs and have a fruitful group discussion with the Additional Secretary of Ministry of National Policy and Economic affair. The students also visited the Headquarters of the NGO, Sarvodaya and had an interactive talk with the Department Head

The students took part in several programmes and received certificates for their work. It wasn’t only an educational trip as the students went to Horton Plains National Park in Sri Lanka and went to several places of historical importance like temples, the Mahatma Gandhi Mural etc. At the end of the trip, there was a colorful function organized for the farewell party.

NPS has been carrying on the mantra of International Exposure for years now and the latest trip was a successful testimonial to just that.
