New mandatory rules for CAT exam 2018

Cat 2018 test takers have been instructed not to wear shoes, do not wear henna, wear a health band and do not come during the exam. These new instructions have been given for examination for admission in Indian management institutes of the country. Students are condemning these new instructions as being strange and poor.

According to the new rules, before entering the examination hall, the closed footwear should be opened and opened. There is also a rule in the category of these new rules that there should be no Mehandi or any cosmetic color in the hands of the candidates coming to the test.

If this happens then their finger prints will not be scanned. In the notice, strict instructions have been given that girls should not have Mehdi at least five days before the examination.

The instructions given for the country’s toughest test CAT to be held are as follows:

  1. You have to reach the centers at 7:30 in the morning session and 1:00 pm for the afternoon session.
  2. Candidates arriving after 8.45 in the morning and after 2.15 in the morning will not be allowed to enter the test centers.
  3. Only Admit Card and Original Photo ID proof will be allowed in test hall.
  4. Those examiners who have opted for the use of the scribe, will have to fill the ‘Scribe affidavit’ on the CAT website with photo ID proof (original and photo copy).
  5. Your Admit Card (if you have an affidavit) will be taken by the examination inspector and you will not get back.
  6. Any kind of Watch, Mobile phone, Earphone, Microphone, Pager, Health band or any Electronic gadget, No printed or empty paper, Pencil box, Pouch, Calculator etc. will not be allowed inside the examination center.
  7. The candidates will have to leave their shoes and socks outside the examination hall. You can wear open footwear like slippers, sandals etc.
  8. Your digital fingerprints will be scanned on the exam day. Because of Mehandi or any cosmetic color, whose fingerprint cannot be taken, they will not be allowed to join the test.

The total 180-minute examination will consist of three sections -quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability.
