You may think of selecting Pain Relief (Option 1) or Emotional Support (Option 3) because they seem to be very relevant (as per general practice) but the correct answer is option number 4. (Respiratory therapy is certainly not the option to be considered as it doesn’t make sense with ruptured ectopic pregnancy).

Reason:

Because, this woman has a ruptured ectopic pregnancy.

What is ectopic pregnancy?

It is implantation of the fertilized ovum, usually in the fallopian tube (not in the site of endometrial lining). In the beginning, the pregnancy may seem to be normal; but with passage of time, embryo may outgrow the fallopian tube. The tube eventually ruptures which lead to exin a site other than the endometrial lining, usually excessive bleeding into the abdominal cavity.
